Turb'Flow

Turb'Flow is a CFD flow
solver. It is a strong validated code in research environment, this
software comes from the Fluid and Acoustic Mechanics Laboratory
(LMFA) of the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, co developed by FLUOREM
who is the exclusive distribution company. The equations solved are the
fully 3D unsteady, compressible, Reynolds-averaged, Navier-Stokes
equations. His efficiency has been highly proven for unsteady flows,
fluid/structure interaction and noise prediction as well.
Turb'Design 1
Turb'Design 1 is
dedicated to sensitivity studies during design phase. It computes many
solutions around design point and delivers integral values (global
performances) and total field as a function of parameters.
Turb'Design 1 enables
to evaluate successively the most sensitive parameters, and their
consequences on performances. It will be a great help to improve and
make easier new product manufacture, from design step onwards by direct
link to other design facilities as CAD.
Turb'Design 2
Turb'Design 2 offers same
functionnalities as Turb'Design 1 but enables more: it computes first
order derivatives (as Turb'Design 1) and
second order derivatives to! That means sensitivity studies are also
possible for non linear areas of the functions.
Turb'Opty
Until now, to produce design
using CFD required multiplying the geometries, the boundary conditions
and as a result, the number of meshes and calculations.
Today, with Turb'Opty, you can directly view all the solutions of a
given fluid mechanics problem, through the parameterization of the flow
field.
Indeed, from an initial solution of a given flow field with
conventional CFD software, the calculation time for the Taylor
polynomial expansion series coefficients only depends on the number of
design parameters selected by the user.

FLUOREM provides you
with a better grasp of the process of product development. Among all
the solutions obtained, it shows the links between the design
parameters and the product performances.
It is an innovative software product, which may be considered as a
plug-in, that FLUOREM can link or integrate in every CFD (Computational
Fluid Dynamics) calculation chain. From an initial sample of solutions
given by a single run of a CFD solver, Turb'Opty enables researchers to
parameter the solutions of a physical phenomenon. As a consequence,
users can vary all the physical parameters values and get very quickly
the result of their influence on the physical phenomenon studied.
Turb'Opty is a cutting edge
parameterization and optimization tool
adapted for computational fluid dynamics studies.
With Turb'Opty time
and cost are dramatically reduced without any degradation in the
results : design cycle is reduced by 30% and experimental costs by 10%.
It requires only one calculation run. Turb'Opty uses this result to
predict all the others by changing all the parameters: it performs
parameterization. Moreover it enables to simplify the use of CFD
calculations. Before, only CFD experts were able to make CFD
simulations. With Turb'Opty CFD analysis becomes accessible to
designers. Crossing this gap increases the CFD market. Thanks to its
compatibility and complementarity to any CFD solver, Turb'Opty is an
easy-to-use performance tool.
Turb'Mesh
Turb'Mesh is a pre processor which generates meshes from a reference
mesh, as a function of design parameters variation.
It can be used alone or in connection with Turb'Design
and Turb'Opty.
Turb'View
Turb'View
is a post processor dedicated to visualize the meshes and flow fields
computed by Turb'Flow for instance. It
enables to visualize through interactive way, meshes and aerodynamic
flow fields evolutions from data bases built with Turb'Mesh,
Turb'Design and Turb'Opty.

Turb'Opty Data Bases
FLUOREM makes 3D CFD
possible for users who have aerodynamic or hydrodynamic skills but no
CFD expertise.
Turb'Opty data bases could be
built and supplied upon request from customers who need CFD, without
licence purchase policy, or without CFD implementation willingness in
their company.
Theese multi-parameters data bases, are built according to expressed
need, and are then usable autonomously by the customer, without CFD
expert. Theese data bases are exploitable by mean of Turb'View
vizualisation software.
