The two main areas where aerodynamics is really relevant are : aeronautics and automotive industry.

 Aeronautics

Aeronautics because aerodynamics is the most important parameter in the aircraft's average performance . It needs to understand aeronautics in the widest sense that is to say beyond aircraft manufacturer. Moreover, for the equipment suppliers the shape of product will have an influence on its performance. For instance for motors and nacelles.

 Automotive industry

This is the second area which needs use of CFD, particularly for the racing cars. This industry makes lots of calculation, for example for the car body making, and specific equipment generating air flow as fans.

 Industry

Although aeronautics and Automotive industry are the main areas where CFD is strategic, there is also a potential in the industry area where FLUOREM realises several studies with its own commercial software and also with its customers' software.
