Stream
STREAM is a thermofluid analysis software with structured mesh. STREAM can be easily used to simulate the behaviours of thermal and fluid flow that are crucial in a variety of industries. Since its first release in 1984.STREAM has been developed as a user-friendly software with sophisticated usability and high speed computation. STREAM can be used in a wide range of user environment, from a laptop PC to a high-performance cluster.
Features
Direct use of CAD Data by means of ParasolidSolid model data can be imported from 3D CAD via XT and STEP format. This strengthens the tie between design and simulation with information about original part names and locations. Thus, the time spent on modeling can be dramatically shortened.
Simplification of Detailed GeometryIncrease in the number of mesh nodes can lead to a heavy load on calculation. Simplification suiting structured mesh can be executed easily for round or detailed geometries.
Registration of Parts LibraryParts can be saved in a database, so-called Parts Library, with their geometry, material property, and other settings. The most frequent parts can be saved in the library for later use. They can be re-used simply by just drag-and-dropping them from the library onto the draw window.
Navigation of Analysis Settings with WizardA variety of analysis types and conditions are provided. Settings can be made easily with the Wizard, which guides an user like a dialogue.
Automatic Mesh GenerationWith simple inputs such as the number of mesh elements, mesh can be generated quickly and automatically. Mesh refinement can also be controlled easily by observing the mesh on the draw window.
Stable, Fast CalculationFast calculation is enabled with the robust solver.
Cutting edge visualizationPostprocessor enables easy, useful visualization in terms of analysis evaluation, as well as beautiful visual effects, animation, and image output in a specific resolution, which aid creation of impressive presentations.
