SC Tetra
SCTetra is an all-in-one general purpose Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) software using unstructured mesh (tetrahedron, pentahedron and hexahedron). It has been developed since 1998 with the specific purpose of "Easily enabling calculation of complex geometries". SCTetra provides both automatic mesh generation and a Wizard based interface that guides the user through the set-up process step by step. In addition to simulating standard fluid flow and heat transfer applications, SCTetra can calculate various phenomena such as Chemical Reactions, Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) for moving and/or rotating boundaries, and Acoustics.
Features
Use of CAD DataAssuming that the CAD data for the product design will be directly used as an analysis model, SC/Tetra has many useful functions to repair and modify the CAD data in case any error or defect exists in the data.
Robust Auto-mesh generation functionThe robust Auto-mesh generator can handle literally any kinds of complex geometry. The GUIs help you setting up local mesh refinements in an effortless and intuitive way.
Analysis condition setup by WizardThe Wizard-guided setup of analysis conditions is easy to understand and prevents any data input omissions or confisuions.
Low memory usage and high computational speedSC/Tetra has achieved low memory usage and high-speed computation by using cell-vertex FVM that Windows PC can handle more than 100 million elements. (*With the use of 64 bits OS and about 16 GB of memory. It may slightly differ depending on the model shape and analysis conditions).
Various aesthetic visualizationsIn addition to simple and useful visualization functions, SC/Tetra can create impressive presentation materials with realistic visual effects and animation.
